About Me
Wild Hearth Learning grew from the rhythms of my own life—gardening with my children, sourdough baking, using herbs, and following curiosity into art and earth-based learning. I'm Makenzie Narrowlark, a mother, artist, and educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching, a certification in permaculture design, and a deepening path in folk herbalism.
I created Wild Hearth to expand our rhythms into a larger learning community. My hope is to attract like-hearted families with similar values and provide more than just an educational service.
Olive is almost 7 and loves spending time alone in the garden making up stories and nibbling. She loves tickles, dressing up and baking. Rory is almost 9 and loves having snack in the garden at dusk, climbing trees, playing board games and building with legos.

This sweet rescue puppy is the newest addition to our family. Our senior dogs passed this spring, leaving room in our hearts and home for a new dog. Rory searched and searched until he found the cutest face and floppiest ears and was able to fulfill his dream of having a bigger dog.

Milly is a tiny darling who loves lap snuggles & sardines. She spends her days sun bathing and chasing lizards in the back yard and her nights snuggled up with us.

Elliot is a big boy who loves napping and loves to eat. He whines for what he wants until you give it to him. You'll often see him lazing around the backyard.
